At Jaush Care, we believe that taking care of your health should also mean taking care of your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Jaush Marketing and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (“Jaush”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “Company”) collects, uses, processes, stores, discloses and protects personal data when you visit the Jaush Care website, enquire about or purchase a Jaush Care membership, communicate with us, or use services made available through the Jaush Care platform.

Jaush Care is a health and wellness membership platform available to eligible existing customers of Jaush BFSI.

We are committed to handling personal data responsibly and in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including, as and when applicable and in force, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 (“DPDP Rules”), applicable provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, applicable rules and regulations concerning information security and privacy, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and other applicable laws, regulations and directions.

This Privacy Policy is also designed to support our transition to the requirements of the DPDP Act and DPDP Rules as their provisions come into force and become applicable to our processing activities.

For applicable data-protection purposes, Jaush Marketing and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. may act as the Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data for which Jaush determines the purpose and means of processing.

Certain services made available through Jaush Care may be provided by independent third parties such as healthcare providers, diagnostic laboratories, pharmacies, insurers, authorised insurance intermediaries, administrators, lenders, payment service providers and technology providers.

Such third parties may have their own legal responsibilities, terms and privacy policies.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected through:

  • The Jaush Care website;
  • Jaush Care membership applications;
  • Membership purchase and activation;
  • Online forms;
  • Customer support interactions;
  • Health Guardian interactions;
  • Email, SMS, telephone, WhatsApp and other permitted communications;

This Policy does not automatically govern third-party websites, applications or services that you may access through Jaush Care.

Where you use a third-party service, that provider may collect and process your information independently. You should review the applicable third party’s privacy policy and terms before using such service.

3. What Personal Data We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Jaush Care. We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

3.1 Identity and Contact Information

  • Mobile number;
  • Email address;
  • Date of birth or age, where required;
  • Gender, where required;
  • Residential or correspondence address, where required;
  • Jaush customer details;
  • Membership details;
  • Customer or membership identification information; and
  • Information necessary to verify your eligibility for Jaush Care.

3.2 Government-Issued Identity Information

For certain Jaush Care memberships, protection benefits or policy issuance processes, we may be required to collect government-issued identity information from you.

Depending on the applicable product, insurer, authorised intermediary or policy-issuance requirement, this may include:

  • PAN (Permanent Account Number);
  • Aadhaar number or applicable Aadhaar-related information;
  • Other identity information specifically required for policy issuance;
  • Information appearing on an identity document, where required; and
  • Information required to establish or match the identity of the relevant member or policyholder.
Important:

Government-issued identity information collected through Jaush Care may be required for policy issuance, identity matching, policy administration, servicing, claims-related processes or other purposes specified by the applicable insurer, authorised intermediary or service provider.

Jaush Care does not independently validate or authenticate your PAN or Aadhaar information. Where verification, validation or authentication is required, it is undertaken by the respective authorised insurer, insurance intermediary or other authorised entity in accordance with its applicable processes and legal requirements.

3.3 Membership Information

We may collect information relating to your Jaush Care membership, including:

  • Membership plan;
  • Membership start date;
  • Membership expiry date;
  • Membership status;
  • Benefits available to you;
  • Benefits used;
  • Renewal information;
  • Cashback information;
  • Discount or offer information;
  • Service requests;
  • Customer support interactions; and
  • Membership-related communications.

3.4 Payment and Transaction Information

When you purchase a Jaush Care membership, we may collect:

  • Transaction amount;
  • Transaction date and time;
  • Transaction ID;
  • Payment status;
  • Order or membership reference;
  • Refund information;
  • Payment method;
  • Limited payment-related information; and
  • Invoice or billing information.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways.

Where payment processing is performed by a third-party payment service provider, Jaush does not ordinarily receive or store your complete card number, CVV, UPI PIN, banking password or other payment authentication credentials.

You should never share your UPI PIN, card PIN, banking password or OTP with Jaush personnel.

4. Government-Issued Identity Information & Policy Issuance

Certain Jaush Care memberships may include protection benefits or other services for which policy issuance requires specified identity information.

Where applicable, Jaush may collect the identity information required by the relevant insurer, authorised insurance intermediary or other authorised service provider as part of the application and policy-issuance process.

4.1 Purpose of Collection

Government-issued identity information may be collected and processed for purposes including:

  • Establishing and recording the identity of the relevant member or policyholder;
  • Matching the member’s details with the applicable policy-issuance records;
  • Facilitating policy issuance;
  • Facilitating policy administration and servicing;
  • Facilitating applicable claims or benefit-related processes;
  • Meeting applicable insurer or intermediary documentation requirements;
  • Complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Preventing incorrect or duplicate policy issuance; and
  • Preventing misuse, fraud or unauthorised use, where applicable.

4.2 Role of Jaush Care

Jaush Care may collect the information submitted by you and transmit the relevant information to the respective authorised insurer, authorised insurance intermediary or other authorised entity involved in the applicable policy issuance or servicing process.

Jaush Care does not itself act as the insurer for the applicable insurance benefits and does not independently undertake the insurer’s underwriting, authentication or verification functions.

Any applicable validation, verification, authentication, underwriting, acceptance, policy issuance or claims decision is undertaken by the respective insurer, authorised intermediary or other responsible entity in accordance with its applicable processes, terms and legal requirements.

4.3 Consent and Mandatory Information

Where identity information is required for policy issuance, we will provide an appropriate notice at the point of collection and, where required by applicable law, obtain the relevant consent or authorisation.

By submitting such information and providing the applicable consent, you acknowledge that the information may be collected by Jaush and shared with the relevant authorised insurer, intermediary or service provider for the stated purposes.

If information required for a particular policy or benefit is not provided, Jaush may be unable to complete or facilitate the applicable policy issuance or service.

4.4 Accuracy of Identity Information

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and current identity information and for ensuring that you are authorised to provide any identity information submitted in respect of yourself or another person.

Where the applicable insurer or intermediary identifies a mismatch, discrepancy or deficiency in the information submitted, the relevant insurer or intermediary may require additional information or documentation or may take such action as permitted under its applicable policy and processes.

4.5 Aadhaar Information

Where Aadhaar information is collected, it will be used only for the purposes communicated to you at the time of collection and for the applicable policy issuance, servicing or other authorised purpose.

Jaush Care does not represent that it independently performs Aadhaar authentication or verification. Where Aadhaar authentication, offline verification or another Aadhaar-related process is required, the applicable process will be carried out by the relevant authorised entity in accordance with applicable law and its authorised procedures.

Privacy and security: Aadhaar-related information and other government-issued identity information will be subject to appropriate access controls, confidentiality and security measures applicable to the processing activity.

5. Healthcare-Related Information

Some Jaush Care services may involve information relating to your healthcare needs.

Depending on the service requested, this may include:

  • Healthcare-related enquiries;
  • Information voluntarily provided during a consultation or support interaction;
  • Information required to facilitate a healthcare service;
  • Diagnostic information where required by the applicable service provider;
  • Information relating to use of healthcare benefits;
  • Information required for administration of applicable protection benefits; and
  • Information necessary to facilitate a health-related financing request.
Important: We recognise that health-related information can be particularly sensitive. Jaush seeks to limit collection, access, use and retention of such information to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant service or purpose.

You should not submit detailed medical records or sensitive health information through a general contact form unless the form or service specifically requests such information.

Where a healthcare provider, doctor, laboratory, pharmacy or other service provider independently collects health information to provide its service, that provider may be independently responsible for processing that information under applicable law.

6. Information We Receive From Jaush BFSI or Other Sources

Because Jaush Care is intended for eligible existing Jaush BFSI customers, we may receive limited information necessary to verify your eligibility or facilitate membership administration from Jaush’s affiliated or related business systems, where legally permitted and reasonably necessary.

Such information may include:

  • Name;
  • Registered mobile number;
  • Customer reference;
  • Customer relationship status;
  • Eligibility information; and
  • Other limited information necessary to identify and administer your Jaush Care membership.

We will not use information obtained for one purpose for an unrelated purpose merely because it is available to us.

Where consent or another lawful basis is required, the relevant requirements will be followed.

Where Jaush Care provides access to or facilitates a health-related financing facility, we may process information necessary to initiate and administer your request.

Relevant information may be shared with the applicable lender or financial service provider.

The lender may independently perform:

  • Identity verification;
  • Eligibility assessment;
  • Credit assessment;
  • Fraud checks;
  • Documentation checks; and
  • Other legally permitted assessments.
Jaush does not guarantee approval of any loan or financing facility. Loan approval, amount, interest rate, tenure and other terms are determined by the applicable lender subject to its eligibility and underwriting criteria.

9.5 Payments and Refunds

  • Issue invoices;
  • Process refunds;
  • Resolve failed transactions; and
  • Prevent fraudulent transactions.

9.6 Customer Support

Withdrawal of consent will not affect processing lawfully undertaken before withdrawal.

Where certain information is necessary to issue or administer a requested policy or benefit, withdrawal or non-provision of such information may prevent Jaush or the relevant insurer/intermediary from completing the applicable service.

Where permitted by applicable law and where you have provided the required consent, Jaush may send communications through:

  • WhatsApp;
  • Push notifications; or
  • Other permitted communication channels.

These communications may include:

  • Jaush Care updates;
  • Wellness information;

  • Membership offers;

  • Renewal reminders.

You may opt out of promotional communications at any time. You may, however, continue to receive essential service communications such as payment confirmations, membership activation information, expiry information and security notifications.

13. Sharing of Personal Data

Jaush does not sell personal data as a standalone commercial product.

We may share personal data where reasonably necessary with:

  • Healthcare providers: doctors, teleconsultation providers, laboratories, pharmacies and healthcare networks.
  • Insurers and authorised insurance intermediaries: insurers, authorised insurance intermediaries, administrators, claims administrators and applicable protection-benefit providers involved in policy issuance, administration, servicing or claims-related processes.
  • Financial service providers: lenders, banks, NBFCs and other authorised financing partners.
  • Technology providers: hosting, cloud, CRM, communication, analytics and security providers.
  • Payment providers: payment gateways and transaction processors.
  • Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, auditors, consultants and cybersecurity professionals.
  • Government and regulatory authorities: where required or permitted by law.
Identity information: Where PAN, Aadhaar or other government-issued identity information is collected for a particular policy or service, the relevant information may be shared with the applicable authorised insurer, authorised insurance intermediary or other authorised entity for policy issuance, identity matching or verification, policy servicing, claims-related processes or other stated purposes.

14. Third-Party Service Providers

Jaush Care may provide access to third-party services. When you use such services, the relevant provider may independently collect and process information.

Such providers may include doctors, laboratories, pharmacies, insurers, authorised insurance intermediaries, lenders, payment gateways and other service providers.

Such providers may have separate terms and privacy policies. Jaush does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party service providers.

15. Payment Security

Membership payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways.

Jaush may receive:

  • Transaction ID;
  • Payment status;
  • Transaction amount;
  • Date and time;
  • Limited payment information; and
  • Refund information.
Security reminder: Jaush will never ask you to disclose your UPI PIN, ATM PIN, card PIN, internet banking password or OTP through ordinary customer-support communications.

16. Health Information

Because some Jaush Care services relate to healthcare, we apply additional caution to health-related information.

We seek to:

  • Collect only information reasonably necessary;
  • Limit access to authorised personnel and providers;
  • Avoid unnecessary retention;
  • Use secure communication mechanisms where appropriate;
  • Share information only where reasonably necessary; and
  • Apply appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

Jaush Care is not intended to replace a doctor, hospital or other qualified healthcare professional.

17. Information About Family Members

Certain Jaush Care plans may allow family members to receive benefits. If you provide personal data relating to another person, including a spouse, parent or child, you confirm that you are authorised or otherwise legally permitted to provide that information.

Where applicable law requires consent or authorisation from that individual or their lawful guardian, such consent or authorisation should be obtained.

18. Children’s Personal Data

Jaush Care is primarily intended for adults and eligible existing Jaush customers.

We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal data through general marketing or contact forms for unrelated purposes.

Where a Jaush Care service requires processing of a child’s personal data, Jaush will apply the safeguards required by applicable law, including applicable requirements concerning verifiable parental or lawful guardian consent.

We will not knowingly undertake processing of children’s personal data for prohibited targeted behavioural advertising or other prohibited activities.

19. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining membership records, processing payments, handling complaints, facilitating policy issuance and servicing, preventing fraud, maintaining accounting records, meeting legal requirements, establishing or defending legal claims and maintaining security records.

Different categories of personal data may be retained for different periods.

Identity information, including PAN, Aadhaar-related information or other government-issued identity information, may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the relevant policy issuance or service, administer the relevant relationship, satisfy applicable legal, contractual, regulatory or record-keeping requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or establish or defend legal claims.

Where personal data is no longer required, we may delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, contractual and legitimate retention requirements.

Jaush takes reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, accidental loss, destruction, alteration, misuse and other unauthorised processing.

through ordinary website forms, email, WhatsApp or customer-support channels.

Jaush does not intend to make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing unless permitted by applicable law and appropriately disclosed.

Third-party lenders, insurers or other service providers may independently conduct credit assessments, fraud assessments, eligibility assessments, underwriting, risk assessments or other automated or assisted decision-making.

The Jaush Care website may contain links to third-party websites or applications.

Once you leave the Jaush Care website, the third party’s privacy policy and terms may apply.

Jaush does not control the privacy practices or security of third-party websites.

31. Business Transfers

If Jaush undergoes a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, sale of assets, investment, financing, transfer of business or similar corporate transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of the relevant transaction, subject to applicable law.
